
Elisabet Poveda Guillén was born in Barcelona in 1974.
She studied law in both Spain and
Germany and practices as a lawyer in both countries. She is legally
entitled to carry the title of Rechtsanwalt (German Lawyer) as well as
Abogado (Spanish Lawyer).
Furthermore, she was awarded the degree of Magistra Iuris magna cum
laude in European Law. She has gained work experience within the
European Parliament in Luxemburg, the European Commission in Brussels
and several law firms in Berlin and Potsdam.
In addition, and in Henry David Thoreau’s words, “I
please myself with imagining a State at least which can afford to be
just to all men, and to treat the individual with respect as a
neighbor; which even would not think it inconsistent with its own
repose if a few were to live aloof from it, not meddling with it, nor
embraced by it, who fulfilled all the duties of neighbors and
fellow-men.”.
