Ayant fait ses études de droit en Espagne et en Allemagne,  elle a le droit d’exercer sa profession juridique dans les deux pays – étant officiellement Rechtsanwältin (avocate allemande) et Abogada (avocate espagnole). 

En outre, elle est « Magistra Iuris magna  cum laude» en droit communautaire européen. Elle a aquis son expérience au Parlement Européen à Luxembourg, à la Commission Européenne à Bruxelles et dans divers bureaux d'avocats à Berlin et à Potsdam.  

D’ailleurs, elle est tout à fait d’accord avec Henry David Thoreau, qui dit:”I please myself with imagining a State at least which can afford to be just to all men, and to treat the individual with respect as a neighbor; which even would not think it inconsistent with its own repose if a few were to live aloof from it, not meddling with it, nor embraced by it, who fulfilled all the duties of neighbors and fellow-men.”
